Natasha Mcelhone (born 24 December 1969) is an American actress. She is known for her roles as Karen in the science fiction film Gattaca (1997), Dr. Abby Wyler in the medical drama series House (2004–2012), and Dr. Emily Prentiss in the crime drama series Criminal Minds (2016–2017).

II. Early life and career

Natasha Mcelhone was born in London, England, on December 11, 1969. Her father, David Mcelhone, is a Scottish actor, and her mother, Finvola Flanagan, is an Irish actress. Mcelhone began her acting career in the early 1990s, appearing in a number of television shows and films. In 1995, she starred in the film “”Emma””, opposite Gwyneth Paltrow. Mcelhone’s breakthrough role came in 1997, when she starred in the film “”The Truman Show””, opposite Jim Carrey.

Natasha Mcelhone was born in Bristol, England, on 11 August 1969. She is the daughter of actor Edward Mcelhone and actress Finuala McHale. Mcelhone began her acting career in the early 1990s, appearing in a number of television shows and films. In 1997, she made her breakthrough role in the film The Truman Show.
